“Nguyên chủng” trong “Giống Nguyên chủng” là gì
(vhds.baothanhhoa.vn) - “Nguyên chủng” là thuật ngữ ban đầu được sử dụng trong nghiên cứu, chọn tạo, sản xuất giống lúa, sau trở thành một từ thông dụng mà gần như mọi nông dân trồng lúa Việt Nam đều biết. Tuy nhiên có lẽ đây là từ mới, nên sau khi tra cứu hầu hết các cuốn từ điển tiếng Việt chúng tôi có trong tay, chỉ thấy duy nhất có Từ điển từ và ngữ Việt Nam (GS.NL - NXB Tổng hợp Thành phố Hồ Chí Minh - 2006) thu thập từ nguyên chủng và giải thích như sau: “nguyên chủng • danh từ [Hán • nguyên: như cũ; chủng: giống] Giống cũ: Vẫn cấy nguyên chủng giống lúa, nên năng suất không cao”.
